We are excited to announce our newest employees to the QRI family.
Jamie Singer | Technical Sales
QRI is excited to welcome Jamie Singer as the Company’s Commercial Technical Sales Lead. Singer will maintain relationships with past clients while identifying and establishing new business opportunities, particularly in Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industries. Singer will also serve as the liaison to QRI’s GSA clients.
Singer is a trained environmental scientist with a proven record of success in building teams and leading initiative to improve ecology and sustainability. She has also served as a Logistics specialist for national and regional water quality training, outreach, and educational events.
Singer has a Master of Public Administration and a BS of Science Geology from the University of Akron. Currently, Singer is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers.
Rachel Laymoun | Financial Analyst
QRI is proud to welcome back Rachel Laymoun as a Financial Analyst for the Company. Laymoun will lead in the Company’s ERP conversion plan and support the Administrative team in Joint Venture accounting and assist in monthly project account and earned value management.
Laymoun previously worked for QRI as an intern in college but ventured to pursue a career with the East Baton Rouge City-Parish as a Budget Analyst. In her nearly five years with the City-Parish Laymoun worked with various departments on their annual operating budgets.
Laymoun has a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a candidate to sit for the CPA exam in 2019.
Brad Proctor | IT Manager
QRI is excited to announce Brad Proctor as the Company’s IT Manager. Proctor comes with over 16 years of IT experience. In his new role, Proctor will manage all in-house IT ranging from subscription-based software to website maintenance. He will also serve as the Liaison for the QRI-Simple Fusion Joint Venture.
Proctor relocated to Baton Rouge from North Carolina where he served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for University PC Care. In that position, he was integral to establishing their network and business IT divisions. This knowledge and experience will carry over in helping establish QRI’s IT division.
Proctor has an Associate’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Nash Community College.
Gerald Almquist | Sr. Project Manager
QRI is proud to announce Gerald Almquist as the newest Senior Project Manager on the team. Almquist will manage projects and clients from award through close-out, support bid and proposal efforts and support contracts management.
Almquist comes with 30 years of experience in the environmental field working for both large and small businesses.
Almquist has a Master’s of Science in Aquatic Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Texas A&M University.
