GPR and EM Surveys at Historical Sites
TYPE OF WORK
QRI has performed GPR and EM surveys at multiple historic sites to identify potential anomalies representing historical artifacts or other items of archaeological significance such as burial grounds and historical foundations. Once field acquisition is concluded, basic post-processing is applied to the data collected. Files associated with surveyed areas are then appended together to create a 3D dataset and anomaly maps are created through data interpretation. Results are presented in a 3D dataset which overlays a site map showing potential anomaly locations. QRI provides clients with a table presenting the coordinates and approximate depths for each anomaly detected.
