PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Under this IDIQ contract, QRI provided a full range of environmental services to the Vicksburg District within 10 task orders. Services consisted of environmental compliance, environmental investigation, environmental conservation, pollution prevention, safety and industrial hygiene training and support, and litigation support services. One of the 10 task orders included a Biological Assessment (BA) after the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill that described and analyzed the effects of the USCG’s response activities on listed species and designated critical habitats in TX, LA, MS, AL and FL. QRI also analyzed effects on Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) per the Magnuson-Stevens Fisheries Conservation and Management Act. Other task orders involved sediment sampling in the Atchafalaya River; wetland delineations along Federal Levees; Phase I and II environmental site assessments; demolition, handling and transportation of asbestos-containing materials; emergency oil spill cleanup; and mold assessments and remediation.
