PROJECT DESCRIPTION
QRI managed the clearing, segregation, recycling, reduction and removal of generated debris in the ROW and on private property on Fire Island, New York following Hurricane Sandy. QRI mobilized $3.4 million of heavy equipment, including hopper and spud barges, to haul waste containers off of Fire Island. Debris removed consisted of approximately 1,177 cubic yards of vegetative debris and 3,823 tons of construction and demolition debris. QRI accomplished all debris removal activities within 32 days and successfully met a restrictive deadline.
