MEET MARCUS

QRI’s Health and Safety Specialist

Marcus is retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 22 years as a Boatswains Mate First Class (BM1). He has a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in management. With over 20 years working as a safety professional in construction, facilities, and maritime environments, Marcus is well versed in his field. Other qualifications include OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40, USACE CQM, Advanced CPR / AED / First Aid Subchapter “M” Lead Surveyor (ISM-Sub M 18/2055) and Lead Auditor (ISM-Sub M 18/1055).

He has many hobbies and interests such as the outdoors, physical fitness, triathlons, motorcycles, home building, hunting, fishing, and many more. Family is especially important in his life spending lots of time with his children and grandchildren. He hopes one day to retire and move to North Carolina where he loves to be.

Marcus has a clear vision for QRI and the future for the company. Assisting in maintaining a robust safety program for job sites and at the office. Facilitating a culture of safety allows QRI to lead the industry in costs reduction, productivity, moral, and reputation.
